do i need specify ip on the client and server pc, or only client?

how does it work behind KIS 2010?

Ivan said...

only client.
If KIS have own firewall then no, you need to unblock ports 6110, 6112 and battle.lan.

maybe this will help http://lancraft.blogspot.com/2009/02/setting-up-firewall-in-windows-7vista.html

hi!
I have a problem. The Runs as admin checkbox is disabled.
What can I do then?

thx!

Unknown said...

ok.
I turned on UAC, so I have an enabled checkbox, so I checked Run as admin, but it still disappears, when I click start.

Ivan said...

are you standard user or administrator?
and turn off UAC and firewall...

Anonymous said...

guys... for run as admin... just simply right clic and pres second button from up.. you dont need to change setting or something :)

Unknown said...

I'm an admin.
I turned on UAC, because it's turned on otherwise, and I read somewhere, that I can enable the checkbox mentioned above.
Conclusion: UAC doesn't affect the Battlelan run problem.
