Today we will be deploying 1.27a for Warcraft III. As with Diablo II, this patch focuses on modern system compatibility. It’s exciting to bring some additional support to another core Blizzard game, and we thank you for your encouragement and patience as we continue working behind the scenes on these types of updates.
Please be aware that while we are working on a balance change and new map pool, that work is still in progress and is not part of this patch. We’ll have further details on that as development progresses.
Until now when Blizzard released new patch for Warcraft 3 you have two choices when updating to latest patch version.
You could start up Battle.net and game would download and update patch automatically or you could download patch manually and manually install it.
Since patch 1.28 you can't download patch and install it offline but you need to use Warcraft 3 Launcher.
To download Warcraft 3 Launcher navigate to:
Warcraft 3 1.24e patch is released.
It brings fixes to hacks, no more crash hack, sheep hack, phoenix hack and other hacks

Warcraft 3 Patch 1.24d has been released, it brings fix for bug that lead to "crash hack".

- Added a SaveAgentHandle native which can be used for saving most handle types.
- Added a JASS optimization dealing with global variable change events.
FIXES
- Fixed a few false positives caused by the "return bug" fix.
- Fixed a crash related to hashtable reference counting.
- “Shadowing” global variables with local variables no longer is possible.
- Fixed a type conversion dealing with operators (i.e. adding a handle with an integer).
Warcraft 3 TFT 1.24b Standalone Patch
It has only passed one weak from Warcraft 3 Patch 1.24, Blizzard has just released beta version of Warcraft 3 Patch 1.24b.
New DotA 6.62 beta 9 has been Released just for this patch
You can get it by switching to Westfall (ClassicBeta) realm.
New patch is out and custom map virus bug is fixed.
Patch is only available on Westfall (ClassicBeta), and new DotA 6.61b and 6.62 beta maps are not working on this patch. DotA 6.59d and DotA 6.61c work on patch 1.24
