New patch is out and custom map virus bug is fixed.
Patch is only available on Westfall (ClassicBeta), and new DotA 6.61b and 6.62 beta maps are not working on this patch. DotA 6.59d and DotA 6.61c work on patch 1.24

World Editor Changes:
- Added new JASS hash table functions to replace the lost functionality from
fixing unsafe type casting.
- Hash Table - Save Item Handle
- Hash Table - Save Unit Handle
- Hash Table - Load Item Handle
- Hash Table - Load Unit Handle
- Hash Table - Get Handle ID
FIXES
- Fixed an exploit related to unsafe type casting that allowed users to
execute arbitrary code in maps.
- Fixed the JASS unsafe type casting exploit ("return bug").
- Fixed several World Editor crashes.

why my dota patch becom like ths 1.24.1642??haha but this is krazy..someone help me??
that is normal no need to worry, if you are using 1.24 patch update to 1.24c http://lancraft.blogspot.com/2009/12/warcraft-patch-124c-is-released.html
