WarCraft: Armies of of Azeroth is and fan made mode developed on top of StarCraft II engine that led to be Warcraft III successor.
WarCraft: Armies of of Azeroth is built as an remake of popular Warcraft III game and it will future new game play features and new campaign based on Warcraft III lore. This mode features remade hi quality models and landscape that will centrally bring old memories and greater game play experience to old Warcraft III players and fans.
While the release date is still not announced the developers behind WarCraft: Armies of Azeroth are saying the mode will be free to play.
The mode will require from players to have StarCraft II installed by thanks to Blizzard the Started edition of StarCraft II is free to download so players who want to play WarCraft: Armies of Azeroth will not need to have purchased copy of StarCraft II.
The development of WarCraft: Armies of Azeroth is been supported by Blizzard by making WarCraft III assets available in StarCraft II editor. The assets include new hero models for all primary races, original models, structures, spell effects, ambient sounds, music, and custom user interfaces for each race.
The team behind WarCraft: Armies of Azeroth is young developers from Russia. The team of developers are promising new game features with maintaining the original balance and feel of WarCraft III.
Since release of Data 2 Warcraft III is not getting enough attention as it deserves and Blizzard is now focusing on WoW makes Warcraft III shine less in gaming community. Hopefully the WarCraft: Armies of Azeroth will bring the awaited WarCraft III successor.
